ABOUT US
Zimbabwe Aids In Focus is a community based organization formed in 2006 by us the residents of Muzarabani Centenary District. The District has a population of 122728 people of which 61631 are female and 61160 are male. There are 26928 households having an average of 4.6 people per household. It is located 150km North of the capital Harare towards the Mozambique border in the Zambezi escapement area.
Our Aims/Objectives
1.Reducing the school dropout rate through provision of school fees, uniforms and stationery to OVCs and orphans.
2.To improve the economic,health and phychological wellbeing of orphans and vulnerable children through strengthening safestnests of communities and households taking care of them.
3.To support women,to do value addition in AGRO-INDUSTRIAL activities to improve their socio-economic situations by facilitating skills training and funding their projects.
4.Create greater awareness about HIV/AIDS and increase community leadership participation in combating the epidemic.
5.to establish an awareness of HIV/AIDS prevailence amoung the community of Muzarabani.
